1But he said to me, “My grace is sufficientfor you, for my power is made perfect inweakness.” Therefore I will boast all themore gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV

What drives you? To be an empowered person, one must identify what makes someone wake up early in the morning, go through the grind of daily life and then go home and do the same thing the next day. Having a daily monotonous routine can be depressing for some people and for some they just do it because they do not see the value if they do something else. It is easy to get sucked in and not involve anybody in whatever rut they are in because they are used to it.

They do not ask for help because they do not know what kind of help to ask for. Before getting up from bed early in the morning, ask yourself, what am I getting up from bed for? However small the answer is, that is your motivation. Speaking to a prophet helps reveal your purpose in life through your personal prophecy.

Having motivation leads to being empowered because you know that you have to do something to be able to keep reaching for that goal that keeps you motivated. Being empowered is the key to moving yourself forward through any situation that presents itself. The can-do mindset is important when seeking counsel from others because what use is it to have somebody advise you to do something but you are not able to do it?
