And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:46)
Through Adam and Eve, man fell into sin. Through Jesus Christ, man was redeemed from sin. The bible said: “Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life.” Thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross – forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life were granted.
But the truth of eternal life doesn’t stop from man regaining access to it. The work of Jesus on the cross was a complete package. His blood that was shed cleansed man from all his sins. And as if cleansing and forgiveness from sins were not enough, God even brought restoration and refreshment through Jesus. The wounds and bruises that Jesus had have brought healing to man. The bible said: “He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.”
