God wants you to be mindful and very careful of the words you speak out of your mouth. He doesn’t want you eating from the gutter. What is the gutter exactly? The gutter is procrastination, lack, limitation, fear, and defeat. Sometimes you may say phrases such as:

  1. “I’m so sick and tired of all this nonsense!”
  2. “I really don’t know what I am going to do!”
  3. “I simply don’t have the resources to take that on right now!”

Did you know the words you speak forth can alter the outcome of your situations, and most importantly, it sets the direction of your life?

The Scriptures declare how our tongues and the words we speak can open the door to good or evil in our lives. Proverbs 18:21 says,

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Do not let the enemy devour your future through the resounding power of your language! As a Believer in God, every word you speak has tremendous power to either feed your elevation or have you feasting in the gutter!

Speak life and see life even when you seem to see death. Please understand 3 exciting truths about your words:

  1. Your words spoken in alignment with your prophecy, lends you power!
  2. Your words can bring life even where there appears to be death!
  3. As a child of God, your words are stronger than the non-believer!

You can choose to build or destroy your dreams, bring joy or despair or bless or curse a thing, just with the power of your words.

Before Abram and Sarai received their miracle child, God changed their names, to Abraham (meaning “father of many nations”) and Sarah (meaning “princess”) just before He told Abraham that from them would come a multitude of nations (see Gen. 17:5, 16–17). But how could this happen when Sarah was barren? It happened with a simple change of name being spoken into the atmosphere!

God is anointing your words for Divine creation, visitation, demonstration and elevation in and upon your fervent application of simple faith! The Lord says that as you begin to speak the word of God in faith over your negative circumstances, you’ll find His mountain-moving power come into those situations. This is the season to speak forth His promises in order to release His divine healing, life, and victory where there has been sickness, brokenness, or lack!

Lift up your words in diligent praise unto the Lord wherever you are right now because the Scriptures declare…

“A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.” (Proverbs 18:20)
