1 Timothy 6:17-19
As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.
Wealth is something like water, you can enjoy it, jump into it and play with it at times, but you should never try to hold on to wealth with a close fist. Wealth is better when it is shared with people who are less fortunate. If wealth is not shared with others, the person holding it is not really confident that he will gain it again because he has doubts on how he got the wealth. If we are sure that we can achieve wealth that we chose to share, then we are certain in ourselves that
we can get it back through our hard work. We cannot lose something if we chose to give and share our wealth to others because this act will strengthen our faith and at the same time, we are being instruments of God.
Biblical prophecies can teach us how to handle wealth in our every day life. If we feel like we are not handling our money well, then we must be on the wrong track and might want to seek for help. We might need to seek prophetic insights to further understand and comprehend what wealth is all about. We need to handle wealth well as it is a blessing from God that we cannot bring to the Eternal life. Wealth will be evil if it is handled wrongly and without any spiritual guidance.
