“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.” (Psalm 1:1-6 KJV)
To receive prophecies, it is important to know if Christ exists in your life right now. When you’ve made a decision and invited him into your life, did he hear you? Jesus said that whoever asks of him, he will freely reveal his presence. In Revelations 3:20 it says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Can you feel the presence of Christ in your life? The assurance that he gave us when we let him enter our lives is the confidence that he will give what we ask of him in accordance to his will. Are you receiving what you’re praying for? If yes, then you have him in your life. If its otherwise, then it is best to accept him again in your lives. First John 5:14 says, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”
Jesus died on the cross to have a relationship with us. God is the one who made it possible for us to have a relationship with His son. We don’t have to first live good lives, perform religious rituals; instead, we only need to accept him in our lives. He died and paid for our sins, that’s how he wanted to be part of our lives. First Peter 3:18 says, “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”
When you invited Christ to enter your lives, these things should be true with your relationship with him: peace with God, becoming a child of God, you are no longer in the darkness, you have eternal life, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit, and you have God’s love.
If you have this genuine relationship with him, make extra effort to grow in your bond. Spend time reading his word, and ask more of him. Ask him to reveal himself to you in testimonies and prophecies. Communicate with him more often. Call on his name. In the Book of Philippians, we are encouraged to converse to him freely. It says in Philippians 4:6-7, “Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Focus your attention on him, and build a good relationship. Prosperity is freely given to those who acknowledge Christ’s existence in their lives. He should be known, and it should be clear that he longs to have a relationship with you. Accept his offer and see more blessings in your life.
