Our Almighty God is a loving Heavenly Father who cares a lot about His children.
One of the things that a father does is to give His children gifts. Our Heavenly Father, being the mighty being that He is, has given us great gifts.
The 12th book of Romans in the New Testament testifies of that. And it says:
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
The third verse talks about how every man is dealt the measure of his faith. The amount of work we put in living in God’s path puts us in as candidates to receive more gifts from Him. The higher your faith, the higher chance you partake of God’s goodness.
It also talks about how we are many members of one body. Isn’t the human body a marvel? It operates on so many systems with different organs, yet they are all one. They are all performing different tasks but for one simple purpose, which is to keep us living.
We need to keep our faith alive. We need to do our duties and serve God so that according to our diligence, we will receive in faith the gifts He has in store. We have already received one of the greatest gifts of all: the gift of Life.
Don’t forget to kneel down in prayer and thank God for the wonderful opportunities He gives us.
